Previewing the New 2017 Toyota 86

The Toyota brand is a mature one. It’s been around for decades and brings its aged wisdom everywhere, especially when putting it in its lineup of many vehicles. Finding the right new Toyota model for you isn’t hard. With so many great options and new 2016 Toyota models, you can get exactly what you want. Vehicles like the 2017 Toyota Camry or the 2016 Toyota RAV4 are two examples of the breadth of variety in the Toyota brand.

The automaker is constantly working to improve how their vehicles operate and behave. The ultimate goal is to be able to aid everyone in our daily lives, from safety technology to advanced hybrid engines. From simple trips to the store to long road trips, the Toyota vision is one of safety, ingenuity, and harmony. And it’s those features that we love here at Serra Toyota of Decatur, your Decatur, AL Toyota dealership. If there’s one thing that some might think is lacking from this ingenious automaker, it’s that there aren’t many models that really aim to get the blood pumping in the younger generation of drivers.

However, that’s all about to change with the new 2017 Toyota 86. The coupe sports car is being adopted by Toyota automakers and getting the Toyota badge. Previous generations of the vehicle were under the Scion brand. At this year’s New York Auto Show, the new 2017 Toyota 86 was shown with a facelift and other notable changes.

Besides sporting a Toyota badge, the front fascia features a new bumper and grille. The overall shape has been smoothed out to contour into a single focal point. The headlights have been upgraded to feature LED accents and the front valance features two ridges which give the sports coupe a youthful edge to its overall look. Other changes include new multi-spoke wheels which add a premium feel to the vehicle, a redesigned steering wheel, and a new seven-inch Pioneer touchscreen.

Overall, the new 2017 Toyota 86 looks more polished than the previous iteration of the coupe. Toyota automakers have done a great job adding a bit of maturity to the vehicle while keeping its youthful energy intact. The 2017 Toyota 86 is expected to arrive sometime this fall. In the meantime, head on down to our Serra Toyota of Decatur dealership for all your Toyota needs, like new 2016 Toyota models
